Why N Hove?
Positioned on the tree-lined New Church Road in Hove, the latest addition to our family is set in an imposing former school building.
Behind the ground-floor doors, you’ll find large, light-filled playrooms and an awe-inspiring atelier, set amongst thoughtfully restored architectural details. The first floor features a spacious wellness and movement room, perfect for sparking self-expression through dance, yoga, and mindfulness. Outside, the huge garden includes a baby zone and two play areas with a messy, wood-chipped zone for Forest School-inspired learning.
We’re all about making things easier for our families, and the generous buggy, bike and scooter stores means you can head off hands-free after drop-off. Even better, our N café will serve (much needed!) sustainable coffee and snacks, meaning you’ll be set up for the day in just the right way!

Rethinking Early Years Education
Here at N, we’re on a mission to rethink early years, offering a fresh educational outlook to prepare children for life in the modern world. Working with leading early years experts, we’ve blended our own unique curriculum, taking influence from a variety of learning philosophies including Reggio Emilia and Bruner. We were recently named the UK’s highest quality nursery group and we believe that our bespoke approach, combined with the learning outlined by the EYFS, supports all of our children to play and explore, be active learners and critical thinkers.
Our bespoke curriculum is split into four key pillars of learning:

Holistic health

Self expression

Global responsibility

Inventive ideas

The N Day
Drop off
We recognise that mornings can be a challenge, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure a positive and warm start to the day.
Child-led play
Children are able to freely play with our many resources including our art studio, dress-up stations and the
N library.
Mealtimes
All N meals are prepared from scratch by our in-house chefs. We have family mealtimes where the children eat as a group with their key educators.
Educator-led learning
Every day our educators will lead small group or individual sessions covering a wide range of topics, including yoga and cooking.
Outdoor learning
Our gardens provide the perfect backdrop for physical activities such as climbing, ball games and obstacle courses, as well as Forest School-inspired learning, planting and water play.
Sleep and rest
Our nursery rooms are designed to convert into cosy sleeping spaces, while children who no longer require a sleep can still relax in our designed ‘hygge’ corners.
Pick up
At home time, families are encouraged to come in and chat with the educators and hear all about their child’s day and accomplishments.

Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

Whilst the Government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), our places are for 51 weeks of the year and so the funded hours are stretched over the 51 weeks that we’re open. Applied over 51 weeks, the funding equates to 11.18 hours per week. The same principle applies for the 30 hour funding.
Families can assess their eligibility for funding and the application process by visiting the Government Childcare Choices website.
For more information about available funding, please go to our Funding and bursaries page.
